Chicago's Navy Pier

This Sunday Bracken and I took a little Sunday afternoon drive to Chicago's Navy Pier. It was so much fun finally being able to spend some time with him alone. Chicago is such an exciting town with so much to do. Too bad it was Sunday or we could have eaten at Bumba Gump Shrimp. Yummy! I have always wanted to eat there. Maybe next time!

I think taking these pictures was the best part of the day. Bracken and I laughed and laughed. I told Bracken I would love to have a mirror like this in our house so whenever I needed a good laugh I'd have Bracken go stand in front of the mirror.

Bracken loved this picture. Can you only imagine why. What is he focusing on? Ha! So funny!

Don't you love Bracken's sunglasses. He gets a kick out of them! He such a goof ball.

During lunch we made some new friends, birds. Ha, I am not really sure what kind though. They loved our food! Here is a picture of all the huge boats that I would love to ride on. Not Bracken. I think they take you on a tour through Chicago. That would be the funnest thing ever!

Pretty sweet picture of Bracken. This made me laught. I love our Sundays together. I can actually spend some time with my husband. I swear during the summers we never get to spend time alone. To make things even better we live in the office. We have great privacy. Ha! Jk It's really not that bad! I love the guys in this office, and well five of them are family. I enjoy cooking dinner for them when they get home every night around ten. Dinner is served at ten. What great eating habits.

Tanner Graduates!

I can't believe Tanner is old enough to graduate and now attend college. Crazy! I love him to death and love spending time with him!

My mom is the greatest! She amazes me with everything she can do. She was in charge of Tanner's All Night Senior Party at the Go Kart place in Idaho Falls. She had done so much work with it and I know the kids had a blast. They had Go Karts, nintendo, games, dressing up for old time pictures, and so much food they didn't even make a dent. My mom is amazing and does so much for Tanner, and well pretty much for everyone.
Grandpa and Grandma Higham are the greatest grandparents ever. I love them so much and truly appreciate all the support and love they have shown to me in my life. My grandpa is the greatest support. When I played golf at Weber State he would walk the 36 holes with me. Him and my dad drove 13 hours to watch me play in a golf tournament in Colorado. That tournament it rained and then snowed. I think I had frost bite on my fingers and toes. Just try to imagine a 75 year old man walking in the rain and snow enduring my terrible round of golf. Ha! My grandma is also one of a kind. This past weekend I flew to Boise to watch Tanner play in a golf tournament and my grandma was there watching as well. The first thing she said when she saw me was, "Katie, you look like little raggy old Annie!" Thanks grandma! She makes me laugh and she also has been the greatest support to me and all her grandchildren.
Tommy and Mason, my cousins, are going to BYU to play golf and football. They are such great young men and Bracken and I totally look forward for them spending time at our house in Springville.

Hailey! I love her! Tanner's little lover. She is the sweetest girl ever. Hopefully she stays around when Tanner goes on his mission. We want to keep her! Maybe we could lock her in a closet! Ha! Her and Tanner are coming to Chicago to visit me! Yeah I can't wait to spend time with them.

We can't believe Tanner has graduated! It feels like yesterday he was just a little tike. Now is grown up and headed to college. Tanner is going to play golf for Utah State with our cousin Austin French. He will have a great time. I think my whole family wishes he would have choosen to play basketball, but all that matters is that he is happy. Tanner is such a great kid and I love him so much. Something that people probably don't know about him is his humble attitude. I honestly can't remember a time when he said something rude about someone else. He doesn't enjoy confrontation and avoids it at all costs. He is such a great little brother and I am so grateful to have in my life. Tanner, Hailey(his girlfriend), my mom, and Chelsea Cook are coming to visit Bracken and I in Chicago this summer. I can't wait. We are going to Nauvoo to visit the church sites, go to a water park, visit downtown Chicago, play golf, swim at the pool, and shop like crazy. I am so flippin excited to show them what my summers are like.
